Leo Messi now has 150 Champions League appearances to his name. The Argentine reached this landmark figure in his first outing for Paris Saint-Germain in this season's group stage, which ended in a 1-1 stalemate against Brugge.

 

This Wednesday sees Leo Messi embark on another Champions League campaign as Paris Saint-Germain travel to Brugge. Leo has lifted the European Cup crown on four occasions during his career.

Leo Messi's hat-trick in the 3- 0 triumph over Bolivia saw him become the leading goalscorer for South American national teams after bringing his tally to 79. Meanwhile, Leo was clearly moved as he celebrated the Copa América success with the Argentina fans in the Albiceleste's first outing in front of fans following the pandemic.

 

Leo Messi and Argentina will take on Bolivia in the last of the Qatar World Cup qualifiers played during the September window. The contest will see the Albiceleste play in front of home fans for the first time since the pandemic broke.
