Leo is now one win away from securing his first piece of silverware as an Inter Miami player following the team’s 4-1 victory over Philadelphia Union in the Leagues Cup semi-finals. The Argentinian scored the Florida outfit’s second goal to bring his tally to nine goals in six games.

Leo’s Inter Miami are in Leagues Cup semi-final action on Tuesday, when they meet Philadelphia Union for a place in the showpiece on Saturday, 18 August. The last-four showdown at Chester’s Subaru Park will be Leo’s sixth outing for the Florida outfit, with whom he has claimed eight goals and one assist.

Inter Miami secured their place in the Leagues Cup semi-finals after beating Charlotte 4-0 at the DRV PNK Stadium. Leo rounded off the scoring in the 86th minute, netting his eighth goal in his five outings in US football.
Inter will now meet Philadelphia Union in the last-four clash on Tuesday at Subaru Park.

Inter Miami will this Friday go in search of a place in the Leagues Cup last four, when they host Charlotte at the DRV PNK Stadium in what will be Leo's fifth outing for the Florida-based outfit. The Argentinian has seven goals and one assist to his name since checking in at the North American club.

Inter Miami advanced to the Leagues Cup quarter-finals after overcoming Dallas on penalties in a contest in which Leo scored twice. The Argentinian opened the scoring in the sixth minute and rounded it off in the 85th minute with an equaliser that took the tie to penalties.
This was Leo’s third consecutive double for Inter Miami in the Fort Lauderdale-based outfit’s three Leagues Cup games.

Inter Miami will this Sunday contest their round-of-16 Leagues Cup tie against Dallas at Toyota Stadium in Frisco.

It will be Leo's fourth outing for the Miami outfit, for whom he has scored five goals and provided one assist.
