Leo Messi signs off for 2020, a year marked by coronavirus, with the following stats: 48 appearances, 27 goals and 19 assists. Forty-four of these outings were for FC Barcelona, for whom he netted 26 times and laid on 19 goals, whilst he featured on four occasions for Argentina and was on the scoresheet once.

Leo Messi is currently completing the treatment he is receiving on his right ankle and is expected to rejoin his FC Barcelona teammates for training following Tuesday's meeting with Eibar.
