The new TheMessiStore.com website launches with the release of new t-shirt designs based on the brand's trademark classic style and inspired by Leo Messi, who unveiled the collection last September.

Leo Messi has taken to social media to send his full support to those affected by coronavirus and all of the medical staff working to combat the illness: "These are tough times for everyone. We're all worried about what's happening and want to help by putting ourselves in the position of those who are having the worst time of it, either because they themselves are directly affected or their family and friends are or because they're working on the front line in hospitals and health centres to battle against it. I want to send all of them lots of strength. Our health must always come first. This is an exceptional time and we must follow the instructions of both the health organisations and public authorities. That's the only way we'll be able to fight against this effectively. It's time to be responsible and stay at home. What's more, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy time with your loved ones, something we don't always get to do. Sending you a hug and hoping we manage to overcome this situation as soon as possible".

Leo Messi has been included in the Argentina squad for the opening fixtures of the 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign. The Albiceleste take on Ecuador on 27 March in Buenos Aires, before facing Bolivia in La Paz on the 31st.
