Leo Messi netted his maiden competitive goal for Barcelona 15 years ago today, against Albacete. Leo, who was 17 at the time, rounded off the scoring in a 2-0 win.

Three years ago today, Leo Messi fired home the winning goal just minutes before the final whistle in El Clásico against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu, a game in which Barcelona ran out 3-2 winners and Leo scored his 500th goal for Barcelona in all competitions.

 

This Saturday marks the 13th anniversary of Leo Messi's stunning strike against Getafe. The goal, which came in the semi-finals of the 2006/07 Copa del Rey campaign, saw Leo carry the ball 55 metres, beat six opponents and slot the ball home all in the space of just 12 seconds in what is considered to be one of the greatest goals in the history of the game.
