In his role as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Leo Messi has published a message of advice on his social media accounts about helping children to cope with the situation caused by coronavirus: "Coronavirus leaves us feeling uncertain, anxious and emotional. These emotions are also experienced by girls, boys and adolescents in a very special way. They get scared if us, the adults, become agitated or excessively terrified. We have a great responsibility: we must reassure them in this time of crisis. It is very important that we talk to them about what is happening, in a way that they can understand, using simple and age-appropriate language. Find all the information you need to support them in the UNICEF channels".

Leo Messi participated in the #10toqueschallenge on his social media accounts as he completed over 10 keepie-uppies with a toilet roll. Leo used the initiative to remind his followers to stay at home in the fight against coronavirus and nominated Luis Suárez, Jordi Alba, Arturo Vidal and Sergio Agüero for the challenge.

Leo Messi has taken to social media to send his full support to those affected by coronavirus and all of the medical staff working to combat the illness: "These are tough times for everyone. We're all worried about what's happening and want to help by putting ourselves in the position of those who are having the worst time of it, either because they themselves are directly affected or their family and friends are or because they're working on the front line in hospitals and health centres to battle against it. I want to send all of them lots of strength. Our health must always come first. This is an exceptional time and we must follow the instructions of both the health organisations and public authorities. That's the only way we'll be able to fight against this effectively. It's time to be responsible and stay at home. What's more, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy time with your loved ones, something we don't always get to do. Sending you a hug and hoping we manage to overcome this situation as soon as possible".
