Argentina head into the match on three points, one fewer than their opponents. Leo was on media duty on Tuesday in the pre-match press conference ahead of Argentina's opener at the World Cup in Qatar, which sees them take on Saudi Arabia at Lusail Stadium. The Argentine attacker stated that he felt "very good" and shared that he is "very much looking forward to" the start of the tournament.

Leo's Argentina will make their Qatar 2022 bow on Tuesday against Saudi Arabia in Group C, which also features Mexico and Poland. The Albiceleste have faced the Arab nation, which sit 51st in the FIFA ranking, four times, coming out on top twice and drawing the other two games. The last time the sides met was in 2012, when the encounter ended in a goalless draw.
